Mac and PC versions are available for download here. All of the plug-ins work in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Aperture. The Nik Collection includes seven plug-ins: Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, HDR Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro, and Dfine. Google basically says as much with this piece of their announcement:Īs we continue to focus our long-term investments in building incredible photo editing tools for mobile, including Google Photos and Snapseed, we’ve decided to make the Nik Collection desktop suite available for free, so that now anyone can use it. That’s the good news, the bad news is that the Nik Collection likely will not be updated in the future. The suite of seven desktop plug-ins for advanced photographers was acquired by Google when they bought German developer Nik, in order to grab its mobile editing app, Snapseed. Google has announced that it is reducing the price of its $149 Nik Collection of photography tools down to a low, low price of FREE.
